1  All across the Great Western territory / Introductions and chat / Calling all those who join at, or pass through Twyford on: October 23, 2007, 12:33:11

Hello
I'm appealing for people who experience terrible congestion at Twyford to take part in a television programme - more details available on request. You don't have to be a Twyford resident, it's enough that you travel through it during the morning commuter rush.
Please contact either myself (ihatefgw@yahoo.co.uk) or the programme's producer (rakhee.hindocha@northonetv.com).
Please spread the word, we need quite a large group of people for something that's being planned to show how horrible it is to travel First Great Western, please join in.
Thank you!
Helen (ihatefirstgreatwestern.blogspot.com)

Hello
Would the members of OxRail be interested in adding my badges to their protests?
I'm handing out "I Hate First Great Western" badges to disgruntled commuters, as it seems that protests and petitions are getting us nowhere, so I'm now trying to embarrass them into submission with a visual protest.
Please visit my blog if you'd like more information: www.ihatefirstgreatwestern.blogspot.com, or e-mail me at IhateFGW@yahoo.co.uk to order some badges - at the moment they're free so let me know if you want to order in bulk and I'll make a special order for you. I'd like to get thousands of people wearing them over the next few months, and your support would really help.
Let me know if you're interested.
Many thanks
Helen (IHateFGW)

Hello
Good news! The "I Hate First Great Western" badges are now available, and they're free. Please e-mail a request to ihatefgw@yahoo.co.uk with your full name and address, and I'll get one, or several, out to you in the post.
Looking at the new timetable, it seems FGW (First Great Western) is continuing to ignore its customers, so all we can do now is embarrass them into submission. Order a badge today, and wear it with pride!
Please also have a look at my blog for updates on the campaign.

Many thanks,

Hello
I'm Helen from Pangbourne. You may know me from such blogs as www.ihatefirstgreatwestern.blogspot.com. It's so nice to have somewhere to come and share our FGW (First Great Western) experiences, so I'll be a regular visitor here.
I'm currently trying to agree a slogan for my protest badges, so if you'd be kind enough to give my latest blog post a quick read, I'd be very grateful for your feedback. I need to get it right, or I'll have 100s of badges on my hands, and no willing wearers.
I'm also interested to hear about other people's protest plans. We in Pangbourne are still no better off following the December timetable changes, but there is a good petition going, and our MP (Member of Parliament, or Mile Post - a method of measuring the railway in miles and chains from a starting point - usually London, depending on context) is on board, so we're hopeful that things may soon get better. Anyway, enough about me, how are you?
