hello.
Just a quick question from a newbie.
I live in cornwall and use the train to travel to work daily and have a Devon and Cornwall railcard.
Does anybody know the reasoning behind not allowing the purchase online of tickets using the devon and cornwall railcard?
Its so frustrating having to go to the ticket office everyday after work to buy a ticket, along with all the other people doing the same, the last thing I want to after work is stand in a que for 20 minutes, I would find it much easier to buy the weeks worth of tickets online then collect them at a self service machine.
I could go down the season ticket route but its cheaper to get a rail and plusbus combo ticket daily for the next days travel.
Im sure there are thousands of others in devon and cornwall who would like to order online and collect at a station.
The Devon and Cornwall railcard shows as an option on the national rail site and gives the discounted fares but then you cant use it on say the FGW▸ (First Great Western) site to buy the ticket.
