Title: Re: Yellow HST at Exeter St Davids yesterday Post by: Electric train on October 28, 2011, 19:27:18 Its called the NMT (New Measurement Train) it is used to record track and overhead line Asset data which is processed by a NR team in Derby who then issue the processed data the Area Maintenance Managers and Route Asset Managers so they can plan track maintenance and renewals. The great advantage of the NMT is can run at full (non HS1) line speed; there is a fleet of varying vehicle used for Asset data measurements
