Title: Question on loading
Post by: dzug on October 13, 2011, 10:03:12
How busy are Cotswold line trains leaving Paddington or Slough on a Sunday evening?

Should I be worried about getting a seat (or in extremis getting on) as i would on a Friday?

You will easily get a seat , although they can be busy to Oxford.

To agree with 'dog box', the last three evening services are all HST's (18:42, 19:42 and 21:42), so you'll be OK there.

Just to feed back, the 1842 (boarded at Slough at 1902) was packed and standing yesterday evening. Didn't really thin out until Didcot. Did get a seat (PAD-Worcs unclaimed reservation that others were ignoring)

There was an announcement about a coach connection to Swindon from Didcot so maybe it was doubling up for another train
