Title: Class 150 train naming, "Devon and Cornwall Rail Partnership" 4 Oct Post by: RichardB on October 09, 2011, 14:53:54 The Partnership is 20 this year and to mark the anniversary, we held a small event on the Tamar Valley Line last Tuesday, 4 October.
The centrepiece of this was a very kind gesture by FGW - my colleague Sandra named a 150/1 unit "Devon & Cornwall Rail Partnership" at Plymouth before we all got on it to go to Gunnislake. The unit is 150 129 and here's the nice piece from Wednesday's Herald - http://www.thisisplymouth.co.uk/Sandra-unveils-new-train-plaque/story-13480253-detail/story.html The nameplate is vinyl, as normal for DMUs, and it's pretty big! Well done indeed to the Devon & Cornwall Rail Partnership, and thanks to First Great Western for their support. :) Title: Re: Class 150 train naming, "Devon and Cornwall Rail Partnership" 4 Oct Post by: RichardB on October 10, 2011, 09:20:56 Thanks Chris
