Does anyone know how many services SWT are allowed to operate between Salisbury-Bristol? I seem to recall a few years back that they wanted to operate 4/5 direct Bristol-Waterloo trains and they got withdrawn just before the new timetable started. I belive the problemthen was actually lack of units! It was indeed Jim with them going from one extreme to the other only operating an ex-Central 158 shuttle between Bristol and Salisbury where you had to change for the Waterloo service. This was whilst the other ex-Central 158 was being refurbed. After that the 2 two car 158s began operating the full service to Waterloo for the next couple of years until SWT had enough 159s coming from TPX with the two 158s taken off lease.Title: Re: TransWilts / First Great Western Coffee Shop Article Post by: Jim on November 09, 2007, 15:49:39 Here's to the fourth trip being re-instated, which I do find unlkely however!
