Title: PA announcement
Post by: Pedros on September 06, 2011, 12:42:17
Heard whilst standing on Leicester Station last week:

"Please note that smoking is not permitted anywhere on the station.  If we see smoke rising from you we will assume you are on fire and take the necessary action. Thank you"

I'm sure others will confirm this,

Few years back down in Darkest Cornwall, a train manager told a passenger to put his Cancer Stick out as Smoking Wasn't allowed on the Train.

Coming through train a Second time train manager told same passenger "HE would't warn him again" as he was still smoking.

On his 3rd visit, finding the Passenger still smoking TM went in vestible and Used the Red Canister on the Passenger & his little white cancer stick.

No more Fag smoke was seen that journey:

Love it, I hope it's not copyrighted cos I'm going to pinch it.

If I hear that announcement on an FGW train I'll know who the guard is now!
