Title: Advance tickets?
Post by: Glovidge on August 04, 2011, 08:49:05
When is the last available opportunity to get an advance ticket at a quoted price. Hoping to get to Birmingham from Cardiff   for the second day of the Test Match (a week today- Thursday and the cheapest advance onpeak is ^43 single at the mo' to arrive at 09:45 giving me plenty of time to get to the ground)

I'm assuming the train is Crosscountry?

6pm the night before, always assuming they haven't sold the allocation

Hi Glovidge,

Try splitting the advance at Gloucester at the moment its working out at ^28.50 to Birmingham, but if there is cricket on you should book them soon they tend to go there seem to be some advance tickets back from birmingham at ^19.00 after 18.00.

@basset44

Cheers for the info, was toying with the idea of missing the first hours of play due to differences in ticket prices but you're a godsend!
