Title: Unhappy Frome Commuters Post by: martyjon on November 05, 2007, 09:54:50 05/11/2007.
06:29 Frome to London Paddington due 08:18 This train will be started from Newbury. It will no longer call at: Frome, Westbury, Pewsey, Bedwyn, Hungerford and Kintbury. This is due to a member of train crew being unavailable. Replacement road transport will be in operating between Bedwyn, Hungerford, Kintbury and Newbury. Note, no replacement road transport either for Frome, Westbury and Pewsey ccustomers and I bet the punters from Bedwyn, Hungerford and Kintbury weren't too happy at having to start their journey by road this morning. Also what I am puzzled about is the lack of a member of train crew being unavailable until Newbury. Anyone provide an insight. Hopefully the Bedwyn bus got to Newbury in time to pick up the same one (although I didn't see any familiar faces).
