Title: Heathrow fares via Reading/RailAir bus link Post by: inspector_blakey on July 26, 2011, 15:33:49 If anyone fancies saving a couple of quid on your journey to Heathrow, book your rail ticket to/from Reading then purchase the RailAir fare separately on their website (RailAir.com (http://www.railair.com)). Fares for e-tickets bought on the website have been frozen for the last few years whilst the RailAir add-on to a through rail ticket has gone up.
Obviously the normal caveat with regards to split ticketing potentially giving you problems further down the line if you're on an Advance ticket and a connection gets missed applies, but apart from that there doesn't seem any reason not to do this... We can do through tickets to Legoland, but if you do entry tickets on internet it's cheaper than the through ticket.
