Title: 17:41 Temple Meads to Gloucester - Booked carriages question Post by: BPWuser on July 13, 2011, 21:59:15 Today (and I think I also saw it once last week) this was a 4 car combo. It's normally a crammed 2 car.
Therefore, does anyone know if this is: a) A one-off measure (when there happens to be spare rolling stock)? b) A trial (more carriages might help it keep better time)? c) A permanent expansion (due to being crammed)? If it's going to be a 4 car going forward then I might be tempted to catch it (instead of waiting 5 minutes for the next train to parkway!) Thanks Title: Re: 17:41 Temple Meads to Gloucester - Booked carriages question Post by: insider on July 14, 2011, 00:50:11 Unfortunatly this service remains booked as a 2 car diagram.
It was a 4 car on 13/07/11 due to issues with an attachment that should have been on an earlier service. Still haven't really sussed what they did differently to make that happen - and I'm supposed to be running the service!
