Title: Plymouth - Exeter Engineering Work Post by: Lee on November 02, 2007, 15:52:49 From SRUG :
For the next 5 weekends there will be engineering work between Plymouth and Exeter. Busses will replace train on this route. This has an effect on train times at Saltash as many services are only running between Plymouth and Penzance. These changes will remain in place at weekends up to and including 02nd December 2007. The revised timetable is attached and listed below. Please check your entire journey at www.nationalrail.co.uk Regards Richard Bickford ^ Saltash Rail Users Group Towards Plymouth (All trains terminate at Plymouth) SATURDAYS 0754 0957 1228 1441 1652 1831 2108 2133 SUNDAYS 1004 1539 1704 2046 Towards Penzance (All trains go to Penzance unless stated) SATURDAYS 0819 0836 (Newquay) 1014 1045 1254 1606 1813 (Newquay) 1915 2104 SUNDAYS 1013 1126 1737 Title: Re: Plymouth - Exeter Engineering Work Post by: Conner on November 02, 2007, 16:53:01 Was in the middle of that last week and I saw some very interesting trains. Plenty of 66's pulling new sleepers and rail. And this speciak engeeniring cart which ran on the the track but was open with car seats.

Plymouth - Exeter is considerably busier than Penzance - Plymouth Title: Re: Plymouth - Exeter Engineering Work Post by: Coombe Stn on November 05, 2007, 12:03:49 Was in the middle of that last week and I saw some very interesting trains.
