Title: Barton Hill TMD.
Post by: JayMac on June 03, 2011, 18:53:33
I note that new signage has recently appeared at Bristol's Barton Hill Traction Maintenance Depot, showing that it is now owned by London and North Western Railway Co Ltd. (aka Arriva, aka Deutsche Bahn). I assume this is just intra-company re-branding, as both the previous operators of Barton Hill TMD, EWS and Axiom Rail, were already constituent parts of Deutsche Bahn AG.

I know that LNWR are based in Crewe so their name makes sense there, but it does seem a little odd to see LNWR (which was also the name of a pre-1922 grouping company) in Bristol.
