DO YOU KNOW THESE MEN? TRANSPORT POLICE APPEAL FOR INFORMATION AFTER THEFT OF LUGGAGE - KEYNSHAM/BRISTOL

British Transport Police (BTP) officers investigating the theft of a passenger^s property from on board a train between Keynsham and Bristol Temple Meads are appealing for the public^s help to identify two men they would like to speak to in connection with the incident.

Officers have today released CCTV images of the men they believe will have information which can assist the investigation into the theft.

Investigating officer, PC David Richardson-Aitken, said the incident took place on board a Portsmouth Harbour ^ Cardiff Central service as it traveled between Keynsham and Bristol Temple Meads railway stations on Monday 18 April 2011.

PC Richardson-Aitken said: ^The 24-year-old victim boarded the train at Southampton Central at around 6.40pm and left his blue duffle bag, containing clothing and shoes, in the luggage racks towards the rear of the carriage. When he went to alight at Bristol Temple Meads railway station at around 8.30pm, he discovered his bag was missing.

^After viewing CCTV images from on board the train, we would like to identify and speak to the two men in this photograph as we believe they will have information which can assist. I would urge anyone who knows the identity of these two men, or their current whereabouts, to contact British Transport Police straight away.^
