Title: Platform Change which is no change
Post by: johoare on May 24, 2011, 10:08:49
Both yesterday and today (Tue 24th May) the 8.34am from Maidenhead to Paddington has been announced as a change of platform with the new platform being platform 4.. Yet it has always run from platform 4 (altho the NR departures board always has it as platform 2).. Although not a problem as such it is a little bit strange..

I wonder if, with the new timetable from this week it really is supposed to go from platform 2 now (but just hasn't yet). However since it stays on the relief line until just before Slough, where it swaps to the mainline,  I'd be surprised..
