Title: Taplow to York back from Selby
Post by: eightf48544 on May 22, 2011, 23:16:47
Am possibly going to York and back from Selby next week, Out 1st back 3rd. Bit in teh middle by boat down Ouse.

Best fare I've got for York is single West Drayton touch in Oyster card (apparently you have to change as Oyster readers are at  bottom of stairs) for Kings Cross then ^15 walk on fare to York on First GC service 09:10?

Coming back from Selby my cousin wants to  go onto to Southampton so looks like Vomiters from Doncaster he says we can leave around 09:25 from Selby  but I can't find a direct train from Selby to Donny at that time and would our Senior Railcards be valid.

Also he's returning on the following Sunday 5th and would have to bus from Banbury any thoughts  on his return journey?

Travel later on Sunday - I don't think those works run all day

Selby 08.58 Hull Trains to Kings Cross, then Waterloo to S'oton. 13.22

Selby 09.38 to York, then East Coast to Kings Cross etc. 14.42

Selby 09.38 to York, then XC Voyager direct to S'oton 15.17

Hull Trains is 180, East Coast most likely Mark 4 Electric, though outside chance of HST.
