Title: Anyone have pictures of dawlish that don't involve a train?
Post by: Mookiemoo on May 19, 2011, 13:23:29
I know its a big ask on this forum

Trying to explain to mate why she wants to be awake for it (I saw it last year) but all she can find is train related pictures

She already thinks I'm sad enough (and getting sadder by the week) but ........

I guess a picture taken FROM the train doesn't count!

Why would anyone wear six inch heels when they are 5 foot 10 and choose to do it whilst shopping!  Or even for that matter have "going shopping" as their saturday activity

No that would!  you can't SEE the train and you'd see what she'd see!

Not amazingly representative of the place, however I'm sure I have plenty on my old laptop.

I know what you mean.  I was asked by a friend the other day if I knew anything cheaper for travelling to Birmingham.  Cue Hereford and my incredibly detailed explanation of how the routeing guide makes this valid.  Then when they realised I have the whole routeing guide, a full network timetable and every fare saved on my computer...

Needless to say, they all think I'm very sad.

On the original question ... see number 2 on my photo quiz: http://brucebolt.com/photoquiz/  OK, there is a train in the picture but it still show how beautiful the view can be.

Only one of Dawlish I can find on my hard drive that doesn't contain a train:
