Title: DfT Invitation to Tender for the Greater Anglia franchise.

The ITT for the Greater Anglia franchise was released by the DfT toward the end of April. The franchise is to run for 17^ months from 5th February 2012 until 20th July 2013. An option, at the DfT's sole discretion, allows for an extension of up to one year to 19th July 2014.

The short-listed bidders were:

  • Abellio Greater Anglia Limited (NV Nederlandse Spoorwegen)
  • Eastern Railway Limited (Go-Ahead Group PLC)
  • Stagecoach Anglia Trains Limited (Stagecoach Group plc)
