FWIW I haven't got the first clue! ;D Title: Re: Where was I this morning? Post by: Chris from Nailsea on May 10, 2011, 01:23:13 Yes, I'm rather surprised it's lasted this long - based on past form! ::)
Despite the apparently tranquil residential setting, this is actually within a few feet of the main line ... ;) Title: Re: Where was I this morning? Post by: JayMac on May 10, 2011, 01:27:47 Shot in the dark. Somewhere in St Anne's, Bristol?

Title: Re: Where was I this morning? Post by: jakemonkfish on May 10, 2011, 09:19:36 There used to be something like this at Highbridge and Burnham but I thought it gor relocated to an industrial estate roundabout, though stil on the site of the old S&DR carriage works - I presume there could be 2 and this is by the flats on the east side of the mainline
Title: Re: Where was I this morning? Post by: Phil on May 10, 2011, 14:58:30 There's one in the middle of a roundabout in Basingstoke as well. And possibly something similar at Winscombe Station, on the site of which I read local people had erected a 3D homage to what used to be there (haven't seen it myself - the station was all still in situ when I lived there in the 1960s!)
This isn't either of those though and I haven't a clue where it is. Wild guess time: Barnstaple? Title: Re: Where was I this morning? Post by: Chris from Nailsea on May 10, 2011, 17:33:52 Excellent shout, jakemonkfish! Here's confirmation of the answer:
