1733 Paddington - Paignton was formed:

Coach A (refurb), B (nice seats), C (Re), D (Re), E (Re), F (Re), G (Re), H (Re), F (re)

I make that 9 carriages with 2 buffet cars!

The coach F at the rear was probably there to serve the pampered few in first class their free teas and coffees and whatever and the apple turnovers, flapjacks, fruit cake slices to sustain them on their (most probably extended) journey to Paignton to be met by their chauffers to convey them to their ^1 million pound second homes in the " Bay" area.

Additional coachs tagged on the end of an HST are common, as its an easy way to get them from depot to depot, ie Oak Common to Laira etc, saves having to drag them around with a loco, am sure both werent open!

I did think that would be why as it was OOU. Yellow tape all round. Saying that the CDL was still active.
