Former ITV West newsreader, turned BBC local radio presenter Peter Rowell has been reported missing.

He was last seen at 8:30 yesterday (Tuesday) morning but did not turn up for work, his car was found parked at Morrisons supermarket in Yate. It is thought he is depressed following the death of a close relative.

I hope to God that he is found safe and well.
