Title: How long to walk from Temple Meads to College Green Post by: Mookiemoo on March 23, 2011, 14:55:44 I have a tutorial at the city of bristol campus near there and my train will get in at 10:43!
Can I make it by 11am! Title: Re: How long to walk from Temple Meads to College Green Post by: inspector_blakey on March 23, 2011, 15:25:55 I reckon so, assuming you walk reasonably briskly and you know the way ;)
Title: Re: How long to walk from Temple Meads to College Green Post by: Mookiemoo on March 23, 2011, 15:26:42 I'll do googlemaps and print it out as I have no idea of the way!
Title: Re: How long to walk from Temple Meads to College Green Post by: inspector_blakey on March 23, 2011, 15:28:47 Just did the same thing - it's just over a mile which I reckon takes me about 15 mins if I'm in a hurry. What Google Maps doesn't apparently show is that you can cut off a corner because there's a footpath and steps down the side of the cathedral that takes you straight up from Anchor Road (more or less opposite the entrance to the erstwhile Wildscreen at-Bristol) to College green.
BTW, where is the college exactly? I had a feeling it was a bit further down Anchor Road towards Hotwells, or is it Deanery Road? Or am I getting hopelessly confused? Title: Re: How long to walk from Temple Meads to College Green Post by: Mookiemoo on March 23, 2011, 16:32:07 BS1 5UA

Title: Re: How long to walk from Temple Meads to College Green Post by: Mookiemoo on March 23, 2011, 23:25:02 Think I'll take my bike down and cycle from worle station to fat club (aka weight watchers) then get the train from worle and cycle from temple meads - assuming my bike tyres arent flat when I check the back of me truck when I get back to nailsea tomorrow
