Holt was the junction where the line from Trowbridge to Chippenham (still part of the TransWilts) diverged from the line to Devizes and Patney and Chirton. The station was named "Holt", but was well outside the village down the sleepy road shown in this picture. The station site is now private. I expect Arlett's have a branch / office in Melksham ;) Title: Re: Where did I take these pictures?
