Title: BAW-> SWI->BHM->BAW Post by: bigdaz on February 24, 2011, 22:24:10 I have a friend travelling from Blackwater to Swindon on Monday, then onto Birmingham returning on Tuesday.
I proposed the following fares but can anyone think of a better one: BAW - BAN (SVR):^24.70 - what's the SOR for this route? BAN - BHM (SVR):^15.20 DID - SWI (CDR):^8.90 TOTAL: ^48.80 Title: Re: BAW-> SWI->BHM->BAW Post by: JayMac on February 24, 2011, 23:14:05 It appears you've got those fares from NFM 07. We are now on NFM 08 following the inflation busting price rises in January.
Blackwater - Banbury (SVR) ^26.50 Banbury -Birmingham NS ^16.50 Didcot - Swindon CDR ^9.40 Total: ^52.40 Aside from that I think you've got the best possible combination if your friend can start their journey after 0930. You asked whether there is a SOR for Blackwater to Banbury. Sadly not. If your friend needs an earlier AM start toward Swindon then the best option would be an SDS Blackwater - Banbury at ^24.30 and a CDS Banbury to Blackwater at ^13.70 in place of the Blackwater - Banbury SVR. Making the total ^64.50. This page is printed from the "Coffee Shop" forum at http://gwr.passenger.chat which is provided by a customer of Great Western Railway.
