Title: What was up with BTM to Parkway yesterday?

I know there were problems with the XC services due to the rail being used as a car park but all the local services were cancelled as well!

From what I saw on FGW live updates yesterday, it was due to a combination of signal failure and over-running engineering works.

Cable theft in the Gloucester area.
Car on the line near Totnes (handbrake failure to blame).
Overrunning engineering works in the Westbury area.
