Title: Stagecoach southwest 04 reg buses failing Post by: ollie b on January 31, 2011, 21:41:03 quite a few 04 registration buses have recently been transfered to stagecoach southwest and i have seen 4 out of the 7 transfered broken down on the 155 exeter - barnstaple route just outside tiverton at 1 stage it overheated twice on a journey of about 20 miles i saw one today which was blocking the road for about 20 minutes at least."The fleet managers just sent them out with out checking the engines properly" ( a bus driver's words )

Guessing the last one knew they were going so didn^t care. If you think that^s bad, try Arriva High Wycome... the worst fleet I^ve ever seen. :o
Title: Re: Stagecoach southwest 04 reg buses failing Post by: inspector_blakey on February 02, 2011, 15:39:53 First Somerset and Avon used to have a real rag-bag of a fleet around Bristol (adding insult to injury given the relatively high fares), although it's some years since I've used a bus in Bristol so I don't know if that's still the case.
