Title: Re: New on-board FGW Magazine Post by: BBM on February 01, 2011, 08:44:00 I picked up a copy last week from Twyford station, in my opinion the content isn't vastly different to 'Go To' but the layout is much better and clearer. However there's one rather large mistake - on page 37 there's a photo of what's meant to be Alum Bay on the Isle of Wight but it's actually Culver Cliff which is at the opposite end of the island!

It's a good start, using the old Wessex Trains mag title ;D ;D Title: Re: New on-board FGW Magazine Post by: stebbo on February 20, 2011, 16:22:22 I'm curious - do people actually read these things? I regard them in the same light as local authority newspapers, good for lighting the fire (except I don't bring the FGW mag home).
Wouldn't we better off without them and the money spent on cleaning/servicing the trains? Wouldn't we better off without them and the money spent on cleaning/servicing the trains? They are almost certainly self sufficient relying upon advertising, I would have thought. Title: Re: New on-board FGW Magazine Post by: ChrisB on February 20, 2011, 17:04:33 I'm sure that it's designed that way....
