Assuming the video hasn't been edited, the daughter has more train sense than her carer, finding a refuge beneath the platform overhang.

The high level platform is a reminder of the British origin of most of Argentina's railways, its first being the Western Railway. I wonder how their 3rd rail copes with the snow.

That story, with it's quote from a Network Rail spokesman gives the impression the muppet filmed the stupid act here in Blighty.

The loco doesn't look at all British - somewhere in Eastern Europe at a guess.

Doing it deliberately is stupid but it is the best thing to do if you find yourself trapped on railway line with a train coming.

Three equally intense lights in a triangle definitely Europe can't make out loco though. Also lineside telegraph poles so possibly East Europe.

What the video does show is how well the triangle of lights stands out. Even when we have three as on Sheds two are dim and one bright. You get three lights of equal brightness in a triangle coming towards its got to be a train!

Poland, IIRC according to the discussion when the video first appeared a few years ago.  It's one of those that gets 'found again' every now and again, and this time the Mail happened to link to it as though it's new...

This Telegraph version is from Jan 2008, according to the article byline and the comments:
