Title: Superbreaks - are they the only rail and hotel package company in the UK ?? Post by: amiddl on December 08, 2010, 22:42:14 I have been very happily using superbreaks to get much cheaper rail and hotel arrangements for travel in the FGW area. The deals are really good with rail tickets being often 50% of the lowest standard class applicable fare and a discount on the hotel room too. For example Newbury - Plymouth is ^30 when booked through Superbreaks with a hotel vs ^63.70 Super Off Peak Return.
Where they fall down is late bookings as they seem only to operate the inclusive rail tickets until about 4-5 days prior to departure presumably to allow tickets to arrive by post. Does anyone know of any other companies offering this sort of inclusive rail and hotel package as I want to find one that lets me do late bookings ??? Post by: Ollie on December 09, 2010, 03:06:20 Doubt you will unfortunately, this inclusive packages can't be dealt with at stations, hence the need to allow for postage.
