From FGW live updates:

Line problem between London Paddington and Greenford.
Train services are being disrupted due to emergency engineering works between London Paddington and Greenford. Engineers are working as fast as possible to restore services to normal. Short notice alterations can be expected.
Train services from London Paddington to Greenford are unable call at Acton Main Line or Ealing Broadway. This problem is likely to continue for the remainder of today. Customers from Acton Main Line requiring to travel towards Ealing Broadway or Greenford are advised to travel into Paddington and change trains there. Customers from Ealing Broadway for Greenford line stations should use Heathrow Connect services to West Ealing and change trains there.

There I was only saying a couple of days ago that I cant remember the last time there was overhead wire problems on FGW and what happens? The Down Fast trips out between Acton and Ealing Broadway earlier this afternoon.
The line was re-energised and then it tripped again.

Word is that something made the lines snap or sag. NR cant do much to replace them as the other overheads are still live cos of HEX refusing the isolation.

All Greenford services running fast to West Ealing (due to pathing issues im told), pax were being told to go to EAL and then take a stopper back to AML on the up relief.
