Quote Line problem between Taunton and Tiverton Parkway. Train services are being disrupted due to safety checks being made between Taunton and Tiverton Parkway. Engineers are working as fast as possible to restore services to normal. Short notice alterations, cancellations and delays can be expected. Road replacement transport is in operation between Exeter St Davids and Taunton in both directions. The line is expected to be closed between Taunton and Tiverton Parkway until 15:30. (Cancel that, had an update saying that it wasnt the windscreen but one of the carriages or something suffered some damage according to reports on the WNXX forum and that the line has been re-opened) Title: Re: Line problem between Taunton and Tiverton Parkway - 14 November 2010 Post by: The SprinterMeister on November 14, 2010, 22:50:55 Buffet vehicle 40743 in 1A81 found to have a punctured outer skin on arrival at Taunton. 1A81 ran to destination arriving 33 minutes late. No windows or windscreens damaged. Line reopened after engineers checked over the brickwork in Whiteball Tunnel.
