But to be honest everybody was in the same boat and the staff were doing their best with the information they had.

Claimed a few years ago from GNER and got the ticket cost back. Title: Re: Claiming Delay Repay on PRIV tickets. Post by: ChrisB on November 12, 2010, 09:36:29 Yes, but they'll only pay up to the value of your priv ticket, of course.

Post by: Super Guard on November 12, 2010, 20:27:11 Of course it's always open to abuse if Guards wave you through as soon as they see a staff pass, but no doubt your details will be on record if you kept doing it, so i'm sure the odd claim from a genuine delay wouldn't be frowned upon.
Title: Re: Claiming Delay Repay on PRIV tickets. Post by: Electric train on November 13, 2010, 10:34:37 If you go to the ATOC website the conditions of use are there for both current TOC staff travel and Safeguraded / retired staff.
I am sure you can, I have as a retired travel holder claimed a refund. (yes life is complex I have retired BR staff travel yet buy a full price session ticket and work for a railway company ??? ) Title: Re: Claiming Delay Repay on PRIV tickets. With respect, would it be safe to assume you and the "generation" you mention are fortunate to have "boxes", so wouldn't necessarily have to ever buy a PRIV ?
