The Rail Accident Investigation Branch has released its Annual Report for the calendar year to December 31st 2011.

It is split into two sections. Section one deals with the RAIB's work in 2011 and section two covers, 'Reported Status of RAIB^s Recommendations 2011'. This gives an overview of whether or not RAIB recommendations following an incident report have been implemented.

Thanks for posting that, bignosemac.  :)

In case there may be those here who say, 'Oh, that report is just a load of waffle' - no, it isn't: it's worth even a skim read, if only to see what the Rail Accident Investigation Branch are doing, on your behalf, in terms of improving safety on the UK railways. :-X
