Title: Expect Bridge Strikes Between Slough and Maidenhead
Post by: eightf48544 on September 14, 2010, 15:21:19
As I came through from Maidenhead today on the A4 I saw work had started on repairing the wing wall of Brunel's Bath Road (A4) Bridge. The front layer of brickes had parted from the main wall.

Thus Approach Road from the Dumb Bell up to the station

A Diversions is signed off the A4 up Station Road which has the first of 6 very low road underbridges, which occur in succession  between Taplow and Slough.

Now Approach Road is used by large trucks to get Taplow and Burnham.

The next road overbridge going East is Dover Road in Slough Estate.

How long before a diverted truck risks one of the other bridges?
