Quote A rail engineer from Sussex has built a ^7,000 miniature railway in his back garden for his disabled son. Graham Bonnor from Eastbourne spent a year designing and making the 180ft (55m) sit-on railway for Lewis, 23, who has autism and is deaf. Mr Bonnor, 54, said he built the track because his son had not always been welcome on other miniature trains as he had got older. The track took Mr Bonner 720 hours to build. He is also planning a station. Mr Bonner said: "He [Lewis] loves going on the trains - we've been to lots in the past and as he got bigger, the public didn't cope too well with Lewis. We had a lot of bad experiences in the end so our aim was to build him his own one where he was free to do what he wanted without upsetting anyone else."
