This train will be started from Oxford. It will no longer call at: London Paddington, Ealing Broadway, Southall, Hayes & Harlington, West Drayton, Iver, Langley, Slough, Burnham, Taplow, Maidenhead, Twyford, Reading, Tilehurst, Pangbourne, Goring & Streatley, Cholsey, Didcot Parkway, Appleford and Radley. This is due to earlier signalling problems.

I'm not au fait with performance statistics, so does that count as a cancellation or is it a handy workaround to avoid another cancellation being added to the list today?

It's a part cancellation, so will go towards it in part.
