Help - any ideas of best route, where to split?  Then I can go look at fares

I expect a 29.30 (single) Bristol Temple Meads to Clapham Junction via Salisbury would be a good starter ... although I recall that a Severn Beach line ticket might be lower cost, and you may do better.  5.70 Clapham junction to Sunbury and 3.60 Nailsea to Bristol.

Of course, you could save yourself the trouble of splitting and pay 86 pounds via Paddington and Waterloo, or 79.50 via Reading, Twickenham and Teddington.

Options are (all arrive 1058):

Quickest: Nailsea to Reading to Twickenham to Teddington to Sunbury (depart 0746)

Easiest: Nailsea to Paddington, tube to Waterloo then on to Sunbury (depart 0713)

Cheapest: Nailsea to Bristol TM to Salisbury to Clapham Jcn to Sunbury (depart 0653)

Tell me which you wanna do and I'll endeavour to find the cheapest split fare. Standard class I take it?

I found a first advance on the 08 something for 20.20 from Bristol to clapham via Salisbury - with my rail card

Have to be at a meeting fir 1230 so should still giver me time

You've found the best deal with that ^20.20 Advance First on SWT, but you cannot get to Sunbury until 1228 if you take the 0851 from Bristol to Clapham Jcn.

Figured nearly an hour would have been enough with a cab from the station

Ok - first class, getting to sunburn by 1215 returning same day

Rail card so with swt not being as flexible as fgw I need advance tonget the discount but if a decent none discount fare exists - 2+ hour journey I can get half of an assignment done with a table
