Though we have yet to see the new Cardiff-Portsmouth/Weymouth X Bristol services timetable yet, The Bath Chronicle gives us a taster as to what to expect. One thing of note was the plan to stop more Cardiff-Portsmouth services at Bradford-on-Avon in future which I think is a good move. One traveller interviewed was asked what she thought of the train and she thought it was good and when told it was 30 years old her comment was that she thought it was a new train :o.

Without being pessimistic (sp!?) I am sure it is the latter! Why cant we be in the West Midlands, where London Midland are going to get brand new 172s and 350s in a few years time?!!! Yes I had heard about the Portsmouth services stopping at Bradford from Dec 07.
