Title: Re: Bounciest Pacer video Post by: inspector_blakey on July 12, 2010, 23:39:45 Bl**dy h*ll! A few dipped joints there, methinks. I had know idea there was quite so much visible bouncage* even at low speed like that, although it has felt a bit like that a few times when I've been on a Pacer.
*probably not a word Title: Re: Bounciest Pacer video Post by: TerminalJunkie on July 13, 2010, 07:05:41 bouncage* *probably not a word If it was, it would be spelt bounceage. ;) Title: Re: Bounciest Pacer video Post by: qwerty on July 14, 2010, 14:16:18 Sorry dunno (not a word) how to put a link into a post, (I am an old git). But....
If you put a search to You tube for '142 Newton St Cyres' you get some FGW bounceage (you never know if people are using the word it will become one). Title: Re: Bounciest Pacer video Post by: JayMac on July 14, 2010, 14:31:21 Here's the video to which you refer, qwerty:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ya1hG7F_EPg And also a news item from ITV Westcountry: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r0G2BK04vsw&NR=1. Perhaps Pacers can be given a new nickname: "Tiggers" The wonderful thing about Tiggers Are Tiggers are wonderful things Their tops are made out of rubber Their bottoms are made out of springs They're bouncy, trouncy, flouncy, pouncy Fun, fun, fun, fun, FUN! But the most wonderful thing about Tiggers Is there's more than only one. (slight edit!) ^ A A Milne ;D Title: Re: Bounciest Pacer video Post by: northwesterntrains on July 15, 2010, 09:54:41 And also a news item from ITV Westcountry: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r0G2BK04vsw&NR=1. Oh yes that poorly researched one that claimed they are 30 years old when it was done a few years ago Quote Perhaps Pacers can be given a new nickname: "Tiggers" But they're known as donkeys, which is very appropriate for the seaside services they operate. A donkey can't be another type of animal unless it's Donkey Kong.
