20:18 Taunton to Cardiff Central due 22:29

This train has been revised. It will no longer call at: Filton Abbey Wood, Patchway and Severn Tunnel Jn.This is due to speed restrictions. Last Updated: 26/06/2010 21:35

Err ... minimum speed restrictions  ;D ;D

I'm scratching my head - "due to a delay on a previous journey - making up time" perhaps? Is there a story behind this one, or just a report that can be read in a slightly amusing way (but no doubt frustrating to 7TJ passengers ...)

I'm guessing that's the reason: could have been delayed by speed restrictions earlier, now skipping stops to make up time and avoid further knock-on delays.

I'm gona say that it has something to do with the riot in Cornwall, perhaps there were connections to be made off a delayed train.
