Title: Falmouth Regatta / Red Arrows Post by: old original on June 14, 2010, 18:07:05 Whilst we're on a flying theme...
The annual Falmouth regatta week takes place 8th - 13th August with the Red Arrows appearing in the evening over the harbour on the Wednesday (11th). I hope they couple the units up again!!! Title: red arrows falmouth wednesday night Post by: LiskeardRich on August 08, 2011, 01:55:28 found out today that the red arrows are performing over falmouth on wed night this week. there are many major road closures in and around falmouth. is it likely for services to be strengthened on wednesday evening?

Can't really complain wasn't ticketed on either leg, to and from Perranwell. It appears that far more travelled from the Town last night according to a colleague who was working the branch!Title: Re: red arrows falmouth wednesday night Post by: RailCornwall on August 11, 2011, 14:05:13 Which underlines my point of the sensibilty of using Falmouth Docks as a diverse departure point.
Title: Re: red arrows falmouth wednesday night Post by: LiskeardRich on August 11, 2011, 17:46:22 indeed far more sensible to board at docks, avoid the crowds
