Aberdeen to Inverness train narrowly misses tractor

A probe has begun after a train allegedly narrowly missed colliding with a tractor at a level crossing.
The incident happened at a farm crossing in the Forres area of Moray and involved the 0823 BST Aberdeen to Inverness Service.
No-one was injured but the train driver is understood to have been left shocked by the near-miss.
The British Transport Police said a 55-year-old man had been charged with traffic offences.
