Train services are being disrupted due to a person hit by a train between Reading and Didcot Parkway. Short notice alterations, cancellations and delays of up to 60 minutes can be expected.

Man dies after being hit by train

Commuters travelling between Reading and London Paddington face long delays this afternoon after a man was hit by a train at Cholsey.
The line was closed at around 3.30pm following the incident and was re-opened at 4.30pm.
Paramedics attended but the man ^ who has yet to be identified ^ was pronounced dead at the scene.
British Transport Police spokesperson Jenny Dickens said the incident was being treated as ^non-suspicious.^
^I can confirm that British Transport Police officers attended the line near to Cholsey rail station, Oxfordshire, after a report that a man had been struck by a train,^ she said. ^The incident is currently being treated as non-suspicious. Paramedics from the local ambulance service also attended but the man was pronounced dead at the scene. Enquiries are currently ongoing to establish the man^s identity.^
First Great Western spokeswoman Elle Banks said services between London and Reading were still effected. ^The lines were re-opened at 4.30pm and services are now running again, but rail passengers should prepare for some disruption.^

Was a jumper, thoughts with driver and staff who had to deal with the aftermath.
