Title: Man dies after being hit by train (South Lanarkshire, 22 April 2010) Post by: Chris from Nailsea on April 22, 2010, 21:22:56 From the BBC (http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/scotland/glasgow_and_west/8638047.stm):
Quote A man has died after being struck by a train in South Lanarkshire. First ScotRail said the incident, at Hamilton Central Station, happened at about 1350 BST on Thursday. An investigation into the man's death is under way but at this stage it is believed there are no suspicious circumstances. The line was closed for about 45 minutes. A spokesman for First ScotRail said services were now running normally. Interesting, that in this latest sad case, "The line was closed for about 45 minutes."
