In that case, might yu not be better buying an expensive ticket which offers a full refund if you don't travel?????

The 1722 involves a long wait at hereford unless you miraculously make the train before it The 1822 gets me home at about 2230 Going via newport is extortionate in the peak For not much difference in cost I can go home W&S, get fed and get home at 2230! And the phone line says (or at least did as of last week) they allow it.
