Next Saturday (17th April) - Steering groups meeting for the TransWilts Community Rail Partnership, 09:30, Melksham. At the 26th March meeting, around a dozen people agreed to put serious time into aims and objectives, constitution, press, kicking off projects and much more ... which needs a whole lot more in depth follow up by a smaller group than a public meeting.

If you couldn't make 26th but do have the time / skills / want to be very seriously and actively involved at the core - YES - would love to have you.   Please email me (graham@wellho.net). 

P.S. Pickup available from Melksham station for arrivals from South.   Lift available from Chippenham for arrivals from north.  Over at lunchtime (but people won't be chucked out - I may be doing some forum stuff with other folks from here too, for example).

I will be attending the meeting - although, unfortunately, due to the current rubbish train connections, I'll be driving, rather than using the train to get to Melksham.  ::)

However, I'll be delighted to offer a lift to anyone wanting to attend the meeting, who can get a train to Chippenham, but who is put off by the lack of any onward connection to Melksham.

Please do contact me, by personal message or e-mail, if you are in this situation, and I'll be happy to collect you from Chippenham (and return you there, if required!).

Overview - after the launch meeting at the end of last month, we need to set up structures and direction quickly, to establish communication channels internally and externally, and to fire off a handful of flagraising projects to nurture the partnership.
