Title: Ramsgate to Edinburgh. . . . . . . . . . . .by Plane Post by: IanC on February 21, 2010, 23:47:02 I've just read via travelmole.co.uk that FlyBe are to launch a service from Kent Airport to Edinburgh Airport from May, using decent enough Aircraft.
The flights will last nearly an hour and a half, and including the minimum of a 2 hour check-in, has to be a threat to West Scotland to Continental Europe transport share, right? I don't think it would be anymore of a threat than Edinburgh to London flights which will have far better connections to rail heads.
There was another cheapy airline that operated out of Manston - it went bust quite quickly. Will be interesting to see how Flybe do.
