Train times are now appearing through the on-line journey planner on the FGW website. Type in 10 December as your departure date for weekday times.

Shame we are all having to rely on the online journey planner to get details of the new december timetable. If they are now online surely FGW could publish them.

I'm sure they will soon!

I did a bit of investiagation and you lucky lot in Bristol get:

Hourly Southampton (maybe not from Soton but hourly from westbury (once again didn't look)) > Gloucester and perhaps beyond (didn't bother looking)

Normal Cardiff > Ports

Two hourly Taunton > Cardiff

From what I can see from the online journey planner it looks like hourly from Westbury to Glos with some services originating from Weymouth. Westbury-Southampton shuttles have gone which is not good news for capacity on Cardiff-Pompey services. These appear to be replaced by services running between Westbury-Warminster to serve Dilton Marsh (Why not run these to Salisbury to connect with SWTs new Salisbury-Southampton service??? To much like common sense and not enough rolling stock!) Whether these services start from elsewhere its difficult to tell. Annoying that it doesnt look like FGW are going to publish the draft timetable online as previously mentioned. This would have passed the draft stage if its now on the OJP.
