Title: Buses replace trains between Plymouth and Exeter Post by: woody on January 26, 2010, 15:36:09 According to the National Rail journey planner buses replace trains between Plymouth and Exeter every Sunday(7th,14th,21st,28th) and one Saturday(13th) in March.Any idea what and where the engineering work is.

They all have a time to ''Give Up'' by but this is often overran by at least one where as others may actually finish early. The line cannot be re opened before all Worksites have given up. Title: Re: Buses replace trains between Plymouth and Exeter Post by: woody on February 13, 2010, 21:41:58 Apparently the Sunday engineering blockades between Exeter and Plymouth in March are basically AM as they will terminate between 1200 and 1320 on Sundays throughout March with the exception of the weekend of the 13th/14th March which is a complete 2 day blockade.

Must be why the bend at Chacewater (runs by the A30) is being relayed - it's only just been changed from 'bolted'.
