Title: FGW 60% Off Offer Post by: eightf48544 on January 23, 2010, 12:50:07 Just had an email from FGW offering 60% off for spring travel.
It also appears on the FGW site. Title: Re: FGW 60% Off Offer Post by: JayMac on January 23, 2010, 13:52:11 Can you give us the link....... I cannae find the offer on the FGW website, and my inbox is sadly lacking the e-mail.
Title: Re: FGW 60% Off Offer Post by: ChrisB on January 23, 2010, 22:59:16 No, I can't find it either - I suspect it's another unlinked page that they're quite good at hiding...
Title: Re: FGW 60% Off Offer Post by: Chris from Nailsea on January 23, 2010, 23:09:13 Hmm. I too did some digging earlier, but I couldn't find anything obvious on the FGW website.
I can only assume it's a cunningly concealed update for their usual offer on Advance tickets (http://www.firstgreatwestern.co.uk/Content.aspx?id=38): Quote The benefits of Advance tickets include: - Discounts of between 15% and 60%. Every month our maximum discount of 60% is offered on at least 90,000 seats! ::) ??? Title: Re: FGW 60% Off Offer Post by: Brucey on January 24, 2010, 08:48:14 I had the email. It was simply saying (in a round about way) that advance fares can be 60% cheaper than walk-up fares.
Title: Re: FGW 60% Off Offer Post by: eightf48544 on January 24, 2010, 10:52:14 Yahoo quite rightly puts emails from FGW into SPAM it also tends to block popups and pictures.
